๐ Hamilton Township Police Department Introduces the Blue Envelope Program ๐The Hamilton Township Police Department is proud to roll out the Blue Envelope Program, designed to help create safer and more comfortable interactions between drivers with autism or other communication differences and law enforcement officers during traffic stops.The Blue Envelope is a simple tool that holds a driver’s license, registration, and insurance card. It also alerts officers that the driver may have communication challenges and provides helpful guidance for both the driver and the officer during the interaction.๐ Pick Up a Blue EnvelopeCommunity members can pick up a Blue Envelope at the Hamilton Township Police Department Front Office:๐ Monday – Fridayโฐ 9:00 AM – 4:00 PMThis program helps us continue our commitment to building understanding, safety, and positive relationships within our community.

Last night, the Hamilton Township Police Department held a swearing-in and promotion ceremony. Please join us in congratulating Officer Richmond, Officer Easterday, and Officer Salyers, who were officially sworn in. We would also like to congratulate Sergeant Elzey on his well earned promotion.
These officers represent the continued dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving the Hamilton Township community. We are proud to have them on our team.Congratulations and stay safe.
Officer Molly and Officer Brandenburg did a self defense class for the retirement community of Heritage of Miami Bluffs where over 50 people were in attendance this afternoon.

Meet Sgt. Perry
Years of Service: 11 years
Sgt. Perry has 5 years of service with the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and has been with the Hamilton
Township Police Department for 6 years.
Favorite Part of the Job: Being an active part of the community, talking and stopping out with residents, Drug/OVI arrests, and vehicle pursuits.
Favorite Song to Listen to While On Patrol: "Search and Rescue" - Drake
Favorite Hobby Outside of Work: Drag racing, building racecars.
Fun Fact: Sgt. Perry plays golf and previously was a scratch golfer. Last year at the Queen City LPGA Golf Tournament, the LPGA pro’s allowed him to play 6 holes of golf along side of them during the practice round.

Officer Easterday is one of our newest officers, currently in field training and continuing to build her skills and experience while serving the community.
Her attention to detail and dedication make her a valuable part of the team, and we’re proud to have her with the department!

โFun Fact: After just 3 years of being hired at Hamilton Township, Officer Garrison tore his ACL while playing basketball. Officer Garrison is also a Gracie Jui-Jitsu Instructor, BOLA Wrap Instructor, and ARIDE Certified!

We want to give a special thank you to Officers Hayslip, Rosenberger, and Brandenburg for their dedication to the safety, mentorship, and support they provide to our students and staff every single day. Their presence in our schools goes far beyond safety. They build relationships, offer guidance, and serve as positive role models for our youth.

Our department has recently added a Skydio X10 drone to our fleet to enhance public safety operations. This new tool assists officers with search efforts, locating missing persons, crash scene documentation, and situational awareness during critical incidents—helping improve safety, response times, and service to our community.

Candid’s database provides information on more than 2.5 million organizations.This transparency means the HTCPAAA has consistently and willingly shared information that supporters can review to make educated decisions on where to spend their dollars. To earn this seal, the HTCPAAA went above and beyond to provide up-to-date information that explains
all aspects of our alumni association. These reports give clear, comprehensive and up-to-date information about how donations are used and how the organization is run. This data includes detailed statements about finances, IRS filings, association policies, demographics, community outreach and board of directors. The Platinum Seal of Transparency puts the HTCPAAA in the top 1% of charities nationally in terms of transparency. Congratulations!

Let’s rally behind Kahn ๐
Recently, the @garysinisefoundation provided a financial gift to the family of Officer Megan Graham. Today, we presented the check to Megan’s husband, Matt, and her parents, on behalf of the Foundation. Officer Graham faithfully served our community and passed away in November after her battle with cervical cancer. The Gary Sinise Foundation’s mission is to honor and support veterans, first responders, and their families through direct assistance and meaningful programs, particularly during times of illness, injury, or loss. We appreciate the Foundation’s continued support for first responders and their families.
